Seeking Nominations

The nominating committee will be looking for names to place on the ballot again in the summer of 2008. This may seem like a long time away, but if you have want to be more involved in the workings of the NPG (i.e. having input regarding the NPG postgraduate courses, evaluating the needs assessment of the membership, planning Workshops and Seminars, etc.) then now is the time to consider greater involvement in your organization. We will be looking for enthusiastic nurses from around the country to fill these positions. If you would like more information about any of the Board positions, please contact us.

Travel Grants for Nurses

• The Mid-Year NPG Board Meeting is being funded by Ferring Pharmaceuticals

• Travel support through Organon will be continued this year for nurses whose abstracts have been selected for oral presentation at the ASRM Annual Meeting

• Prize Poster and Prize Oral Awards are being generously funded by Fertility Lifelines

Attention: Nurse Managers and Educators

The Nurses in Reproductive Medicine Professional Group is pleased to announce the formation of a special committee (the Advanced Nurses Network) to meet the unique needs of nurse managers and educators in infertility settings. If you currently function in this role, please be advised that a short questionnaire will be distributed to you in the near future. Its purpose is to assist us in assessing your needs and help us plan future meetings, educational sessions, and networking opportunities. We will continue to keep you abreast of our progress and are optimistic that we can create and maintain a lasting network on both a national and international level.
